Phil under the Bus

Love the show and glad you covered Phil at the 1st LIV event. Why not? What does he have to lose? I assume if he keeps promoting the LIV, the ban from the PGA Tour will not be rescinded. Also, I think the PGA Championship is separate and independent of the PGA Tour. As is the USGA, who runs the USOpen. Will he be at the Country Club? Same for the Masters, it is an invitational and they determine the field. Just because he is a past champion, does not guarantee an invitation. It is a tradition, not a certainty. Older golfers

Great show. Hoping you will do more on senior golfers. For example at age 63 and decent physical condition does it make sense to try to improve ball speed - currently at 98 mph.

Great Podcast

The best!

Hands down the best golf podcast going. Refreshing and enlightening to listen to golf opinion that’s actually substantiated by data and facts vs cliches and baseless anecdotes. I’m extremely saddened to hear Scott won’t be back next season, but I’ve full confidence in Mark and Lou (and the occasional Scott guest appearance) to keep the quality content coming. One request: an equipment discussion with Tony Covey as a guest!

Awesome 1st Season

Congratulations to Mark, Lou, and Scott on finishing a fantastic first season. I’m gonna miss hearing Scott’s rants next season, but judging by the past 53(!) episodes, Mark and Lou will have no trouble carrying the podcast next year. You guys strike a nice balance between self-help for us average Joe’s and discussions of what’s happening on the pro tours. Bravo guys!

Real golf knowledge, digestible and entertaining. Great Value.

One of the most knowledgeable/entertaining golf podcasts available. Disprove all the old cliches and listen to real data talk. Relatable. Informative. I use their studies all the time to improve how I caddie at one of the world’s greatest golf destinations. This show is a must listen for any golf fan.

Next Level Golf Insights with a sitting at the bar vibe

Fun listen for all who love the sport. Great balance of statistical insight and a bit of humor. The three hosts complement each other well. I started listening because of Scott and how much I enjoyed Decade foundations ( and now elite stats entry ). I enjoy golf more and achieve more on the course as a result. I can’t thank you enough! Mark and Lou round out the discussions at a very high level.

Shouting fore

I’ve heard stories about tour players not yelling fore because sometimes they can get a lucky bounce of a spectator. Not sure how true it is but that’s one thought.

Awesome content - perfect length

I’m really enjoying the show. The one thing I love is that you stay on point/topic with your episodes. I’m not sure if this is a conscious effort or not but it seems like each episode is about 25-35 minutes, which is the perfect length for each of the topics you tackle.

Off to a great start

You guys are off to a great start - I really enjoy listening to your discussions. Keep up the excellent work!! The show about stays was excellent and I almost drove off the road because I was laughing so much when Mark asked Lou if he put his briefcase down to measure his putts. Great stuff!!!

The Truth!

Hands down, the most honest, informative, and educational podcast about golf. Far better than the guy with a zillion followers. Please keep up the great work. Knowledge is power. Even if it does make me want to yell at the broadcasters on the tele even more than I already do.

Episode 9 & 13 with Michael Breed are as informative and entertaining a golf podcast as I have heard. The presentation of golf as an evolving game, from instruction to the current state of play, is refreshing.

Match ups

Loved the podcast on matchups. I’ve had more lessons than I care to remember and can really relate to changes that don’t resolve into better golf. First was Jim Flick back in the 70’s with square-to-square. Although he was a beautiful man, my body has yet to recover from those years. Last was GolfTec (hitting all the “tour-average” angles - more the same, positions without regard for the effect on your body. Keep up the great work!

Great Content but turn Scott’s mic off

I love Mark and Lou and I think the way all 3 approach the game is great and really helpful, which is why I am rating this 5 stars. Scott is a major tool though and needs to talk 1/2 as much or less.

My favorite golf podcast

This podcast will improve your golf game. Data and science back up their “progressive” course management ideals. I really like hearing real advice that isn’t the same old rhetoric from years gone by. I also really like that these guys are willing to explain why certain golf “truths” aren’t reality. Great show, keep it up.

Data driven golf analysis

This is a great podcast if you want information backed up by facts. They’ve had some amazing guests, but the three of them tend to have interesting conversations. It’s been interesting to watch them grow and learn to work and communicate with each other better, but each episode seems to be better than the last and the first episode Is great. Lou brings great data analysis and actual data to the table. He breaks it down into meaningful points and doesn’t just beat people over the head with numbers. Mark has been teaching and producing content for years and has a great perspective on coaching and equipment. Scott has experience with competitive golf and has great insight into how changes to the professional game will impact the amateur world. It’s been interesting to see him develop as a podcaster, with the recent distance debate podcast being a place where I wanted to hear more from him. I look forward to continuing to listen to the podcast.

Michael Breed espisode

Great content and enjoy the show. While trees have a place on golf courses, our course (1916) has removed several as we were having trouble growing grass. Many years ago, trees were put in places they should not have been . I think the guys in charge back then did not know the long term ramifications? Again great podcast. Thx
